Introducing BrahmiX: your AI and your chats, side by side with the web

A lot of work now happens in three places at once: the page you are reading, an AI assistant you ask about it, and a chat or inbox where the answer ends up. In most browsers that means three tabs, a lot of switching, and copying text back and forth.

BrahmiX is a free browser for Windows that puts those three side by side.

A BrahmiX window: a news article on the left and BrahmAI open in the Hub on the right, summarising it. A BrahmiX window: a news article on the left and BrahmAI open in the Hub on the right, summarising it.

The Hub: a rail on the edge of every window

Every BrahmiX window has the Hub, a slim rail of icons on the right edge. Click one and that service opens in a panel beside the page you are on. Press Ctrl+Shift+Space to open or close it from the keyboard.

The Hub works with BrahmAI, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and DeepSeek for AI; WhatsApp and Telegram for messages; and Gmail and Outlook for email. You can add any other website you sign in to, such as your team's chat, and it opens in the Hub like the others.

A few details make it pleasant to live with:

  • Each service stays signed in. Sign in once, the way you would in a tab, and it is there next time.
  • Sleeping services save memory. A service you haven't used for 15 minutes goes to sleep. Its icon dims; click it and it wakes where you left it.
  • It goes where you want. Put the Hub on the right or the left, and drag the icons into your own order in Settings.

Ask from any page

Select text on any page and right-click. You will see Ask BrahmAI, Ask AI and Send to WhatsApp. BrahmiX opens the service in the Hub and hands over the text you selected, so you can ask about a paragraph, a price or a phrase without leaving the page.

You can also type a question straight into the address bar and pick Ask BrahmAI at the bottom of the suggestions. The answer opens beside the page instead of replacing it.

One rule runs through all of this, and we built BrahmiX around it:

BrahmiX never reads your chats. Only text you choose moves between sides.

BrahmiX doesn't look at what the services in the Hub show, and it never presses Send for you. When you hand text over, BrahmiX puts only that text on your clipboard or into a draft, opens the service, and leaves the sending to you.

Private by default

BrahmiX is built on Chromium, the open-source project behind several of the browsers you know. We kept Chromium's speed and security, and removed the parts that send usage reports or ask you to sign in.

  • Translation happens on your computer. When you translate a page, it is never sent to a translation server. The first time you translate a language, BrahmiX downloads that language once and keeps it.
  • No usage tracking. BrahmiX sends no usage statistics, and there is no BrahmiX account. Your history, passwords and bookmarks stay on your computer. Crash reports are sent only if you agree to it.
  • No sign-in prompts. BrahmiX doesn't ask you to sign in to Google to use the browser.
  • Protection from dangerous sites. BrahmiX checks the pages you visit against lists of known phishing and malware sites, on your computer.

Our privacy policy lists everything BrahmiX sends, to whom and why, in plain language.

A calm place to work

Tabs sit on the side, where long titles have room to breathe; collapse them to icons when you want more space, or move them back to the top. BrahmiX comes in light and dark, and its motion follows your Windows animation setting: if you have turned animation effects off, BrahmiX keeps still too.

Try it

BrahmiX is free, for Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit), and it updates itself after you install it.

  1. Download BrahmiX and open the file.
  2. Because the installer is new, Windows may say "Windows protected your PC". Choose More info, then Run anyway.
  3. BrahmiX opens with a short welcome that helps you bring your bookmarks and set up the Hub.

What's next

BrahmiX is in beta, and we are still improving it. It is Windows-only for now; Mac, Linux, Android and iOS are not available yet.

If something doesn't work the way you expect, tell us. In BrahmiX, open ⋮ → Help → Report an issue, or write to support@brahmix.com. We would love to hear what you think.

BrahmiX is made by Two Quarters Sdn Bhd in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.
